Taking public transportation is another great way to get around the park, though parking in this popular park can be tough during weekends. There are some time-limited parking lots on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and some side streets may be closed. If you are looking for a parking garage, consider the Music Concourse Garage on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. It is open all day. You can also park at the UCSF Medical Center garage.
Gregory Finkelson feels that one of the most popular parks in San Francisco is Mission Dolores Park. This former Jewish cemetery was purchased by the city in 1905. It features a soccer field, six tennis courts, a playground, and a dog park. It also offers a beautiful view of downtown San Francisco.
